Divers Training & Supply, Inc. is a full service dive shop located in Charleston, WV. We have had to

move our shop location to 1212 Garvin Ave in Charleston. We are working on having a presence at the Trojan Landing Complex, 1414 MacCorkle Ave. SW Charleston, WV.  25303. We train and certify Recreational divers, Public Safety Divers, Technical Divers, and professional divers in a wide range of Specialty divers.

Additionally, we own a large dive boat called  "Best Dive" and a dive operation in Cozumel Mexico.

We dive the Caribbean, the US, and the world throughout the year. Please come and join us on our fantastic dive trips.

We offer a complete range of Instruction, Equipment sales, Equipment repair, Travel, Air fills. 

We specialize in Dive Rite Equipment, Sherwood Equipment, Shearwater Computers, Henderson 

Wet Suits, DUI Dry Suits, as well as supplying a variety of other brands of equipment and accessories.

We have been serving divers from West Virginia and the surrounding states for over 27 years. 

We have a good variety and inventory of equipment and have a rapid response time for equipment 

ordered from our suppliers. 

The shop is owned and operated by Peter R. Corbett a diver of over 48 years and a PADI Instructor with credentials as a Master Scuba Diver Training. Peter is highly skilled as both a dive Instructor and as an educator with a Bachelors degree and 3 earned Masters Degrees. He is also highly trained in the medical field as an EMT, CPR Instructor and a Certified Athletic Trainer. He was employed  with Kanawha County Schools for over 30 years He taught and coached in Kanawha County for over 20 years and most recently worked as the Vice Principal of George Washington High School for 10 years before his retirement.

Peter is a highly trained professional with an uncommon ability to teach and admonish excellence in performance through patience & high expectations of excellence delivered in a kind and gentle manner of genuine caring for all students.

You may purchase any displayed item at any time the store is open by simply taking the item to the front counter of the store. Most of the sales associates have limited knowledge regarding Scuba Diving but will help you in any way they can if Peter is not in the shop. However, serious diving equipment sales and consultations are done by appointment.

Peter is in and out of the shop on a regular basis but does not believe that in today's digital age of constant communication, it is a valuable use of his time to stand behind the scuba diving counter all day long waiting for someone to happen to come by. Peter is generally only 5 min. away and is on call through his cell phone 24 hours a day. With just a phone call, he will meet with you personally to assist you with all of your scuba diving needs.
